As the gondola issue has been talked about more and more, I've actually thought about that episode of the Simpsons.
It's eerily similar to this gondola proposal, no?
How dare the Simpson's make such an obvious paraody of our wonderful Gondola Proposal. They shouldn't make our finest philanthropist (Chris Peterson) look so silly! Shame on Bart! Shame on Homer! SHAME!

I think that this should be shown before every monday night movie at the ampa theater. this will really get the crowd hiped about the gondola. boy who ever wrote this show was very much in tune what is going on in other communities! I think that mayor probably saw this and thought this is the way to sale all his Idea's.
